The Essence (Solo Exhibition)

The Essence: Nasim Yazdanni

Nasim Yazdani’s latest collection of acrylic paintings, The Essence, reflects the idea that we all come from one Earth and one universe. Nasim’s work emerges through the playful pouring of layers upon layers of paint, of light, and of darkness. Her paintings explore the push/ pull dialogue between abstraction and figuration, forcing the viewer to question what they see on the painting’s surface and what they see beyond. The collection is composed of a number of sub-collections, each consisting of 24 paintings. This exhibition includes artworks from The Essence, The Essence: Shadows, and The Essence: Light.

Elemental (Group Exhibition)

The Elemental,  The Art Circle, Bath Artist’s Studios

In The Essence: Light (Elemental), Nasim Yazdani extends her exploration of interconnectedness into a reflection on the fundamental forces that shape existence. Here, the elements are manifestations of light and expressions of a shared origin.

Transformation in the Water-Air, Earth, and Fire artworks unfolds gradually, intertwined through soft, diffused passages that evoke movement and growth. The central piece, Earth emerges through the convergence of the surrounding elements, symbolising the multiplicity of all things. Through palette knife techniques and a fusional style, Nasim questions illusory boundaries in form and meaning, blending the familiar with the new to express unity in diversity at a deeper, elemental level.
