Nasim Yazdani is a painter whose practice is a fusion of representation and abstraction, exploring unity in diversity (multiplicity) through experimenting with light, shadow, and paint to express interconnectedness. Her recent collection, The Essence, has received international recognition, including finalist selection at the London International Creative Competition and the Jackson’s Art Prize extended long-list. She is currently an artist-in-residence at Emerge Studios, Bath Spa University.
Nasim Yazdani is a globally inspired visual artist whose work bridges cultural boundaries and celebrates diversity and inclusivity. Born with a deep curiosity about the world, Nasim views art as her universal language. Since her childhood, Nasim Yazdani discovered her passion for painting and pursued non-formal art education at different art institutes, which led to formal fine art studies and establishing a lifetime career in the visual arts. Her works have been showcased in many solo and group exhibitions across the globe, including the UK, France, Italy, and Turkey. In 2024, Nasim was awarded the People’s Choice Award (Best in Show) at the Doncaster Open Art Exhibition and was featured in a number of art books, including 101 Contemporary Artists and More: Volume 7, published by Collect Artwork.
In 2025, she participated in a group exhibition at the heart of London, and her artwork was showcased at Euro Expo Art, edition 9. Additionally, she made it through to the Jackson’s Art Prize 2025 extended long-list. In March 2025, her collection, The Essence, was awarded as a finalist in the Create (Art, Professional) category of London International Creative Competition (2024). In April 2025, Nasim Yazdani was featured in The Flux Review, Edition 12. In late 2025, Nasim exhibited her artworks at the New Bath Arts Club 2nd Annual Exhibition. She has been selected as an artist-in-residence for the Emerge Art Residency, running from November 2025 to September 2026.
In 2026, Nasim’s artworks have been exhibited in multiple art shows, including The Art Circle Bath Annual Exhibition (Vibrant Pockets) at 44AD Artspace, Emerge exhibition (Unanchored) at The Holburne Museum, and the NBAC Open Art Exhibition at Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution.
Her upcoming exhibitions include a solo show at Emerge Studios in Spring 2026 and participation in the Art Circle Bath Elemental Show at Bath Artist’s Studios.
Through her artistic practice, Nasim Yazdani seeks to encourage viewers to reflect on shared human experiences and the interconnectedness of the universe.
