Peace Colour Open Call, International, Iran (2016)

‘Isn’t It Enough?’ (70×50 cm) was selected for the Peace Colour international exhibition open call at Milad Tower in Tehran in September 2016.

Curated by Pooyandegan Art Institute, the exhibition showcased 88 artworks chosen from hundreds of submissions, all promoting harmony, understanding, and unity through artistic expression.

The event attracted widespread attention, with coverage by Hamshahri Online, Mehr News, Honar Online, and Borna News. One of the most memorable moments was the participation of Gary Lewis, the UN Resident Coordinator in Iran, at the closing ceremony, which emphasised the global importance of art as a medium for promoting peace.

‘Harvesting the Mirage’ (acrylic on canvas, 150×100 cm) was selected for the Blue Gold international exhibition open call at Etemad Gallery in Tehran from April 22 to May 10, 2016. The artwork was showcased as part of the online exhibition on Etemad Gallery’s website.

Curated by Leila Varaste and Vida Zaim, the exhibition focused on the global water crisis, reflecting on diverse artistic interpretations of this pressing issue.

The exhibited artworks were selected from among hundreds of submissions.
